THE FOUNDER

Salvatory Benet Mcharo, a secondary school teacher in public schools in Tanzania since 2011 was orphaned at childhood. He grew up in rough environments and was touched by God, to become thoughtful of the Needy Children, He initiated the formation and establishment of Tanzania Child Focus Foundation, to share with others in caring for Children who suffers from the same he once experienced. He currently sold his family plot which worth 9,000,000 Tanzanian Shillings to pay rent for new kids premises of which 6,000,000 was paid as rent and 3,000,000 Tanzanian Shillings were used for renovating the place.

Empowering Lives: Supporting 1,000 Vulnerable Children in Tanzania

We are a dedicated organization in Tanzania committed to making a difference in the lives of 1,000 underprivileged children, including those with Down syndrome and those affected by HIV. Our mission is to provide essential support, education, and care to these vulnerable groups, ensuring they have access to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive. By working closely with local communities, we aim to create a brighter future for these children, offering them hope, dignity, and the chance for a better life.

THE ORGANIZATION MISSION AND HISTORY:

Tanzania Child Focus Foundation is a registered non profit making organization founded by Salvatory Benet Mcharo 2021, and his wife – Glory, joined him to serve needy children around the country.

Since its establishment to date, the organization has been running operations of Day care and Nursery school, Pre and Primary School in Arusha region from which is serving more than 120 children in two schools; Olimo primary school in Kilimanjaro Region and Child Focus Pre and Primary School Arusha.

Currently the Organization has 10 Staffs working day and night serving the children

Generally Tanzania Child Focus Foundation, provides – Nutrition, Health, Education to 50 Children in Child Focus Pre and Primary School Arusha, of which 48 are underprivileged children and 2 are Special Needs Children born with Autism, and Down’s syndromes to fulfill the Organization Mission and attain the vision of the founder (Salvatory Benet Mcharo).

The school is located 18 kilometers from Arusha city, situated in the village area, about 3 kilometers from Arusha- Moshi High way, North of Maji ya chai – a suburb – of USA river Township in Arumeru district – 25 kilometers to Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA)

Just as well, The Organization provides – Nutrition, Health, clothing and School supplies to 90 children at Olimo primary school in Kilimanjaro Region, of which 84 are underprivileged children, and 8 Special Needs Children – born with Austism and Down’s syndromes.

Olimo primary school is a public owned school, situated in village areas, Mbokomu ward and Tema village, 16 kilometers North of Moshi urban in Kilimanjaro Region.

As such, the Organization has in principal provide four proposed projects on condition that we can rise the funds by making special appeals to you, to share our commitments and endeavor of taking care of these children
